Getting It Together: Seven Principles of Kwanzaa
This annual festival of “first fruits” was created in 1966 by Maulana Karenga, Ph.D., chair of the Department of Black Studies in California State University, Long Beach. Kwanzaa begins on December 26 and ends on New Year’s Day.
